Basic Information about special loan cards:

CALD Library Borrowing Agreement
Buley Library is a participating member of CCALD, a reciprocal borrowing program that allows SCSU faculty and staff to borrow material from other Connecticut member libraries. Faculty and staff can borrow material from participating libraries by filling out a brief form at the Circulation Desk. Buley Library will also honor CCALD requests from staff and faculty at other participating libraries.  This library agreement is only for one time. For additional information, please contact the Access Services Department at (203) 392-5768 or stop in and pick up a CCALD brochure.

Special Borrowers
Library patrons must be 18 years or older in order to borrow material from Buley Library. Library cards issued from other universities or public libraries can not be used to check out material from Buley Library. A limited number of special borrowers library cards for professionals is available from the Circulation Department. Please bring a photo I.D., along with the application form, and leave at the circulation desk. Requests for special library privileges will be considered and will be approved at the library's discretion.
All library patrons agree to abide by all the rules assigned to a guest borrower.

Basic Information about Special Loan Cards:
The library card is valid for one semester but can be renewed as long as all books have been returned and no library fines have accrued
