Hilton C. Buley Library is the information gateway for all segments of the campus community.
Collections - The Library maintains core collections in a range of formats to support, encourage, and enhance learning, teaching, and scholarship by providing access to sources of recorded knowledge and preserving the institutional memory.
Services - The Library provides a wide range of services encouraging the use of information resources and fostering the information competency of the entire university community. Services are tailored to meet the needs of all campus populations including on-site and distance learners.
Technology - The Library leads the University in using current information technology to provide broad access to growing and diverse information resources across the campus and beyond.
Collaboration - The Library collaborates with campus, community, state, and national partners to provide access to resources, to enhance the skills of the Library staff, and to advance the field of librarianship.
Personnel - The Library’s knowledgeable and service-oriented staff hold skills unique to the campus community and are dedicated to meeting the scholarship needs of the students, faculty, staff, of the University and the greater community.
Facilities - The Library provides a physical environment conducive to scholarship and creativity.
Standards - The Library uses standards and guidelines, such as those of the American Library Association and appropriate accrediting agencies, as benchmarks.
