In order to locate articles rapidly and efficiently, it is important to use online or print magazine indexes. Southern Connecticut State University Library subscribes to more than 100+ online database indexes. Their coverage includes magazines, scholarly journals, newspaper articles, photographs, images, and book reviews. These indexes are usually searched by keyword, subject, author or title. Like the reference sources discussed earlier, there are also subject specific databases. Be sure to read the descriptions and utilize the ones appropriate for your research. The print indexes are located to the right of the reference desk.
